Bio
Tina M. Samuels is a freelance writer who specializes in writing health articles. She has written numerous articles and guides on health topics ranging from specialized conditions like lupus to general chronic pain remedies. She lives in Rome, Georgia with her husband and a variety of cats and dogs.
Experience:
Tina was diagnosed with her own chronic pain condition, interstitial cystitis, in 1993. She began an exhaustive search for information and found little. Over the next fifteen years she has interviewed chronic pain specialists, found support groups, and read medical journals to inform and educate herself on chronic pain conditions as well has her own interstitial cystitis. Today she stands as a patient care advocate for people with “invisible diseases”.
From Tina M. Samuels:
“From time to time you can tell people are suffering. They are born with, or develop, diseases that are clearly visible. For many sufferers of chronic pain conditions, these illnesses aren’t noticeable, but the pain is very real. This site stands to try to help each and every patient find a bit of peace in the chaotic storm of chronic pain.”
