How Cold Affects

Published by tinasam at 9:16 am under Uncategorized Edit This

There is much talk with some chronic pain conditions (fibro especially comes to mind) about how the heat of summer and the bone chill of winter affect their ability to move and function. So I pose the question, how does cold affect you? is that a mild, moderate, or a severe response? For me, cold just shuts me down. I become near rigid and  my muscles tense to rocks. If there is any lubrication in my joints I’d never know it as they feel like said. After a bit  I can’t even move.

Heat affects me differently, it generally starts working in to at least free up muscles and joints so I move better, but then I get headaches and my temperature gets all screwed up, I get dizzy and lightheaded. I’m really not sure what is worse, the heat or the cold.

So you can see why my new favourite seasons are Spring and Fall, that way I don’t have those extremes and my daily routine works a wee bit better. Thats my story, whats yours gentle reader??
