Lyrica is the brand name of Pfizer Inc for the drug pregabalin. This is used to treat nerve pain, neuropathic pain in diabetics, and postherpetic neuralgia. It is also the first treatment approved by the FDA for fibromyalgia. A schedule V controlled substance, it has done well in double blind studies for use in the 3-6 million people afflicted with fibro.
