I’ve taken Lyrica for almost two years now and I would be in so much more pain without it; I have a lot of neck pain/jaw pain from my (MVA) in 1996 and when I run out of this medicine I can tell such a difference; Yes its for Fibromyalgia but it also helps me with my TMJ pain in my jaw/face I really really believe that it does; Being a controlled pain medicine my Doctor has to fill out lots of paper work for it all the time but thankfully I have a great doctor and he does so much for all of us who are disability , have monthly spend down to meet!

I began taking Lyrica about 2 years ago due to the recommendation of my doctor who was treating my Reflex Sympathetic Dystrphoy at the time. I should preface by stating that by this time in my lie I was relying on some heavy hitting pain killers in order to function. I was taking Fentanyl in the form of Actiq lolipops, as well as a variety of other pain meds in pill form.I feltlike there was no hope for me. That was when my doctor introduced me to Lyrica. I have been taking it for about two years now, and I am happy to say that I am completely off of the fentanyl pops, as well as the majority of other pain meds. Here is the catch though. None of my insurances cover the drug Lyrica. As I’m sure most of you know it is a fairly expensive med, however
i would never consider giving up on the Lyrica. It has been a lifesaver for me, and I am currently searching for alternatives for ways to obtain the med without breaking the bank.
