How Are YOU Feeling??

Published by tinasam at 11:15 am under Uncategorized, living Edit This

People ask that all the time. How are you feeling, Is everything ok with you, How are you anyhow? What do you typically say?

Do you say “I’m fine” even though you know you aren’t but don’t want to look like a whiner or complainer? Or are you truthful and state “I’m hurting a little less today than yesterday but more than I was last week”. In a life of chronic pain you will hurt, daily, and how do you go about relating to what they are asking of you.

I’m curious to you, any readers, to see how you respond and reflect upon just how you are doing. Its  to see how you view your chronic pain, and to help champion others to view yourself as well.

So dearest of all readers, I ask:

How are you doing??

I don’t have chronic pain, but my mom does. She rarely complains. In fact, it’s often difficult to know that she is struggling until I see her rubbing her hands (where her pain is the worst). She is so happy all of the time, but sometimes I wish she would tell me when she was struggling, because I really do care.

I’m so pleased this was the one that got the most comments, I agree that sometimes you have to just “play through the pain” and it doesn’t matter even if it makes it worse, you do it because you can’t let it beat you.

    Thanks for the comments all.
